Victoria joined Mogers in 2008 as a trainee and qualified as a Solicitor in 2010 joining the Family Team.
Victoria advises on all aspects of private family law including divorce/ancillary relief matters with a high number of those cases involving individuals over the age of 60. Victoria frequently deals with Children Act applications such as applications for residence/contact and removal from jurisdiction cases. Victoria also advises on issues surrounding co-habiting couples including drafting co-habitation agreements or in the event of a relationship breakdown court applications.
Victoria is a member of Resolution, a national organisation of lawyers committed to resolving family matters in a non-acrimonious manner. Victoria sits on the Bath regional committee.
Victoria has been named in Chambers & Partners 2014 as an ‘associate to watch’ and ‘is recognised for her work in both financial and children matters, with sources noting her wonderful client manner’.
Victoria is a regular contributor to the Mogers magazine and has written articles for the Western Daily Press and Young Lawyer Magazine. Victoria has also written numerous e-briefings and blogs on behalf of the department updating readers on current family law issues or discussing topics of interest. In her spare time Victoria enjoys running and regularly competes in events such as the Bristol Half Marathon and 10K.
