Building Disputes

Given the complexity of many building contracts, disputes often arise as to the quality of work, timing of the work and the required specification of the works. We regularly advise businesses of all sizes on all aspects of building disputes, including advice on the interpretation of the building contract and, if necessary, instructing on behalf of clients, building and surveying experts.

Like all forms of commercial dispute, there are alternative forms of dispute resolution available. These include ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) or arbitration. We find that the early use of such dispute resolution processes can lead to a cost-effective and timely solution to disputes.  If resolution of a dispute via alternative dispute resolution is not possible, we will progress your claim or defence through the courts.
