Partnership Agreements

Individuals working together in partnership (such as accountants, lawyers or architects) are often unaware of the implications of not having a partnership agreement or of having one that is no longer valid.   In the absence of a written partnership agreement the partners will have no choice other than to rely on the Partnership Act 1890 which is limited in scope and which contains a number of provisions which may be contrary to the intentions of the partners.

We can draft new or revised partnership agreements which define the rights and responsibilities of partners.  This will in turn reduce the risk of disputes arising in areas such as profit sharing, property ownership and dissolution of a partnership.
