Red File – An Introduction
More clients are choosing to retain a greater degree of responsibility for the day to day management of their legal issues by using information, Court forms and guidance that is available online.
In straightforward cases much of the work can be done by the client if they so choose. When clients choose this approach, our role is to assist and guide them in their efforts rather than to take on the sole responsibility for the work.
It is the difference between helping the client and doing it for them.
With our Assisted Legal Services scheme, called Red File, you can rest assured that you can get exactly the help that you need, when you need it.
Red File is designed so that you choose at each step of the legal process, whether you want to deal with matters yourself, or have us work alongside you, offering that helping hand. Each step, or module, has a separate fixed fee so you know exactly how much your costs will be.
Where clients are able to run their own case, and have the ability and time to do so, they can reduce the legal costs involved in the divorce process by several hundred pounds.
If you chose to hand over the full management of your matters to us at a later stage, whether because of complexity or the time and emotional demands of dealing with matters yourself, then we will be able to step in and fully represent you.
